Blue Array Ltd was founded by Simon Schnieders in 2015.  With a focus on ‘large scale SEO’ typically with sites over 100k indexable pages, Blue Array also offers tactical and strategic advice to smaller sized sites.  We mentor for some of the UK’s best accelerators (500 start-ups) as well as having 50% of the current e-commerce 'Future Fifty' cohort as clients.  Some start-ups we’ve helped with SEO include PlusGuidance, Festicket, Carwow, Love Crafts and TransferGo.  Typically we conduct a technical audit of a website, working off of a 200 point checklist, as well as highlighting the competitive ‘gap’ and identifying strategies with which it can be exploited. We also help with reputation management, migration (for example from http to https) and content marketing strategies.

As part of your 1-2-1 SEO clinic session, an SEO manager from Blue Array, Dylan Yates, will conduct a review of your website.  Dylan has worked for Blue Array since January 2017, responsible for online visibility and organic growth for a selection of the company's impressive roster of clients. Successes have included overseeing platform migrations for the websites of a major Midlands-based publication, without traffic loss, and driving Year on Year organic growth to an international festival ticket reseller. The aim of the clinic will be to identify 2-3 areas of opportunity that will form part of your long term, online strategy that can be implemented at scale.  Furthermore, Dylan will answer SEO questions, and help to dispel industry ‘myths’.  As a marketing channel, SEO offers superior return on investment when compared with paid online advertising. It’s well-worth investing time to find out what you can be doing now to be ready 12 months down the line.

What you might want to consider prior to the clinic session:

  • A list of 3-5 competitors (including one 'aspirational' competitor)
  • What is the site history? i.e. have you ever had a penalty, change of domain name, site migration in the past
  • Other domains: What other domains do you own? Any international/multi-language sites, or whitelisted sites/services
  • Access to Google Analytics and Search Analytics (bring your own laptop, or we can log in with your details on ours)
  • The size of your website (how many pages)
  • What resources you have access to; Development, content writers, designers
