Emma Fadlon from the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) will be coming in as usual to run her clinic on Monday 14th May.
Here is a little more background about the KTN:
The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) was established by Innovate UK to foster better links between business, science, and creativity in order to nurture, develop and scale up innovation. The KTN’s technology expertise is broad in scope and ranges from defence and aerospace to the creative industries, the build environment to biotechnology and robotics. We help Innovate UK with scoping of new grant call areas, and disseminating information on current and upcoming calls which provides access to alternative funding for business growth and technology development.
We foster better collaboration by connecting our members and providing a range of services and support activities including: linking to expertise on technology, projects, research and markets; identifying public and private sector funding (UK and EU); helping build business cases for funding and investment; investor readiness and due diligence preparation leading to introductions to our network of investors.
The Access to Funding and Finance (A2FF) team is a cross sector KTN service and is there to help companies prepare for and secure finance and funding. We deliver a range of business support and growth activities to companies.
The KTN also support investors, we are the national organiser of the Venturefest network and the Pitchfest events, (www.venturefestnetwork.com). These are a series of one-day regional showcase events bringing together innovators, investors and entrepreneurs and is a rich source of investment pipeline of peer nominated companies from a range of sectors.
