Understanding and Leading People Workshop

Friday 17th of January 2020 - 10:45

As an entrepreneur of a start-up company you might think that understanding and leading people is a skill more relevant for larger organisations. But in fact it is doubly important for smaller organisations, where even one demotivated or underperforming employee can have a proportionally much larger impact on the company's performance and culture.

This workshop describes how people differ in attitude, emotion and behaviour and provides you will some basic, easy-to-use tools which will allow you to quickly identify the mix of personalities in your team and select the most effective way to lead and communicate with each individual.

The workshop will cover:

  • Understanding your own personality profile and behaviour preferences
  • Identifying others’ personalities — a simple four-colour model
  • Interacting with people with different behaviour profiles
  • 13 leadership styles — which one(s) are you?
  • Adapting your leadership style for different situations
  • Selecting a balanced team

The workshop will involve plenty of interaction and provide opportunities to share and discuss your own experiences and challenges.
