Join us at the inaugural lecture of the University of Surrey’s Adams-Sweeting lecture on Wednesday 28 February.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Lord Martin Rees, Astronomer Royal, former president of the Royal Society and author of seven popular science books. Lord Rees will discuss life on Earth and in space in the year 2050. He will explore the threats posed by humanity’s heavy footprint on the global environment as well as the consequences of ever more powerful technologies.
 
We are honoured to be hosting this talk and delighted that Professor Alf Adams and Sir Martin Sweeting will join Professor Lord Martin Rees, along with University of Surrey, Professor of Ceramic Materials, Julie Yeomans, for a Q&A after the talk.
