On 30th January 2018 at its School of Veterinary Medicine, the University of Surrey is holding a major partnership building event “Innovation for Health”. Working together with SEHTA, invitations are being extended to all University academics and to companies interested in building collaborations to apply for forthcoming grant funding, particularly 2018 opportunities with NIHR i4i, Innovate UK and other funders.
The event will include presentations from top speakers on current research, as well as the opportunities available and the resources offered by the University. 1:1 sessions and sandpit groups will explore the best response to innovation needs and opportunities. There will also be an exhibition were you will have the opportunity to interact with researchers and companies attending the event.
To help bring about the best results a pump priming fund has been established offering funds (up to £5000) prior to the Event to help Academics and SME’s explore the possibilities of collaboration.
